Single Note Soloing – Star Spangled Banner

In this guitar lesson, you will learn to play the major scales of C, D, G and A using 4 different fingering types, then you will use these fingering patterns to play the Star Spangled Banner in different positions. This lesson will get you moving around the fretboard and learn different ways to play the major scale.Â
You can use either the electric or the acoustic guitar. The tablature has been included for each fingering type in the key of C major. Once you're familiar with each fingering type in the key of C major, you can easily convert the fingering patterns to each of the other major keys.
