C Major Scale Exercises
In this lesson, you will learn to play a number of different guitar scale exercises in the the key of C major. The illustration below, shows all the notes in the key of C major, up to the 22nd fret. You will learn to play 3 different positions along the guitar fret-board.
In the video that's included below, I play 3 different positions in the key of C major. This will really get you moving around the fretboard. There are two C notes colored in blue blue. In the first exercise we will start on the C note at the 8th fret with your 2 finger. In the 2nd exercise we will use the C note at the 8th fret starting with your 4 finger. In the 3rd exercise you will start with your 1 finger on the C note of the 3rd fret.
The key of C major, has the notes of: C – D- E- F- G – A – B and C.
